Collide Lancer is operated by Collide Middle East. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Collide Lancer you agree to this policy.
What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email or phone, and any profile information such as city, services, rates and avatar), the listings and applications you create, and basic technical data needed to run and secure the service, including visit statistics from Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email and avatar from that provider.
How we use it
To create and manage your account, show your listings to relevant people nearby, connect clients and freelancers, prevent fraud, and improve the service. Messages are checked automatically to stop requests for contact details and spam; when an account is paused for review, our team reads only that account’s messages that triggered it. We do not sell your personal data.
What other people can see
Anyone, including people who are not signed in, can see your display name, photo, headline, bio, city, skills, portfolio, listings and reviews. Your phone number, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and InstaPay are never shown publicly: they are only shared inside the chat with someone after you both agree on a deal. If you use "near me", we only keep your approximate area (about 1 km), never your exact location. Phone numbers and links in chat stay hidden until a deal is accepted.
The mobile app
The app uses the same account and data. If you allow notifications, we store your phone’s notification token and the app’s language so we can send you messages and offers; they are delivered through Expo’s push service and Apple or Google. Only the photos you pick are uploaded, resized and stripped of camera and location data first. If you sign in with Apple we receive your name and email (or Apple’s private relay address). The app has no ads and no tracking.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your account data at any time, on the website or in the app, or contact us. Deleting your account hides it at once and erases it 30 days later; logging in before then cancels the deletion. Every step is on the delete your account page.
